Don't Look Down
Updated: May 30, 2019
While doing deadlifts at the gym today (go me ) I remembered a trainer once told me “it’s harder to breath if you don’t your lift your chin.” This is a lot like life. Looking down may be focusing too much on negative parts of our past, bad relationships or shady comments from haters. Looking down causes us to take our eyes off the prize and focus on our insecurities. If you’re striving towards a new or old goal that takes you to the edge of your comfort zone, keep your chin up and surround yourself with beautiful and affirming thoughts that strengthen your will, endurance and focus. It will help you breath better even when the air feels thin. Find the strength to lift your head.
