Sometimes Our Presence Is More Important Than Our Performance.

This quote from minister Steven Furtick triggers thoughts of the thousands of graduates proudly walking across the stage this season, including my baby girl 💖. I also can’t help but think of their peers who started the journey but didn’t finish (and my heart goes out to them too.) Although there are millions of obstacles standing between. each student & their goals, some still found the strength to keep showing up… through poverty, discrimination, death of loved ones, struggles in self esteem, addiction, loneliness, abuse and more. They fought to keep moving. They fall, cry & still fight to get back up. This is life. Find a positive reason to fight and you’ll find a reason to soar. Then, the power to be present transforms into exceptional performance.
